UCLA Extension - Certificate in Paralegal Studies

 

 

Paralegal 프로그램은 사실 그렇게 문의가 많은 과정은 아닙니다. 법률 관련 전공자나 관현된 업무를 보는 분들만 수강할 수 있다는 제한이 있기 때문일 것입니다. 지난번에 이어 최근 UCLA Extension-Paralegal Studies에 관해 문의 주신 분이 계셔서 지원에 필요한 내용 안내 드렸었습니다. 참고할 수 있도록 안내드린 내용 포스팅 하도록 할께요.

 

 

 

 

아래와 같이 statement, resume, 성적표 등 준비해 주셔야 합니다.

1.     Statement of Intent
Describe your objectives for applying to the UCLA Extension Paralegal Training Program, which should include your educational and professional goals.  Please describe any professional or personal qualities you possess that will help you succeed in the program or as a paralegal.  You may also include any other information that would be relevant to assessing your capacity to meet the rigors of the program and the paralegal profession. A Statement of Intent must be at least two pages, double-spaced. 

2.     Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)

3.     Transcripts
Sealed, official transcripts, or for students whose college was located outside the United States, an official transcript report, are required before the first day of the program. (See uclaextension.edu/PTP_Transcript for academic credential evaluation services). You may submit temporary or unofficial transcripts for purposes of your application, but any acceptance is provisional pending the PTP’s receipt of official transcripts or official evaluation reports.

4.     토플 성적 90 이상

5      그리고 아래는 필수사항은 아니고 Optional 이므로 가능하다면 해주세요.
- Writing Sample
- Letter of Recommendation

 

 

 

국제학생은 국제학생 부서 승인을 위해 아래 서류 추가로 준비해 주셔야 합니다.

1. 6개월 이상 유효한 여권 사본

2. 영문 잔액 증명원

3. 사진 1장

 

 

입학신청에 필요한 비용

1. 학생회비 $1,700

2. 첫학기 보험료 $537

3. Express Mail fee $40

 

 

Paralegal 프로그램의 경우 Paralegal 수업을 진행하는 아카데믹 부서에 먼저 지원하여 입학허가를 받아야 합니다. 입학이 허가되면 그 다음에 국제학생 담당 부서에 입학허가서 발급 신청을 하면 됩니다.

 

 

토플 90점 취득이 부담스러운 분은 San Francisco State University에서는 토플점수가 61점이므로, SF State 대학의 Paralegal 프로그램도 함께 고려해 보시기 바랍니다.
